Posting guide
How often should beauty pros post on Instagram?
There is no magic number, but there is a right rhythm for you: the one you can keep up for three months without burning out. Consistency matters more than volume, because clients trust pages that show up regularly.
Start with a rhythm you can keep
A good starting point is a few feed posts or reels each week, plus stories on the days you are at work. If that feels like too much, cut back and protect the habit first. You can add more later.
Mix the types of posts
- Show the work: transformations, treatment clips and room tours.
- Teach: short explainers and aftercare tips.
- Invite: open availability, new services and clear booking links.
Batch to stay consistent
Film several clips in one session, then plan captions and posting days ahead. A single content day can cover weeks of posts, which is why many beauty pros schedule one.
Know if it is working
Watch saves, shares, replies to stories, DMs and, most importantly, bookings. If posts get attention but nobody books, add clearer calls to action. If nobody sees them, try shorter videos and stronger first lines.
